Gameloft debuted “Block Breaker Deluxe”, their new iPod game, recently on the iTunes Store.

It’s a conversion of Gameloft’s existing mobile game, which if you hadn’t guessed from the title, is a classic, arcade brick-breaker game reinvented with hot graphics. The mobile version has sold more than 8 million downloads, apparently.

“We revamped the graphics of Block Breaker Deluxe for iPod to make it the most feature-rich, action packed wall breaker game ever created,” said Gameloft.

Play the game and interact with cool characters in their jet-set nightlife settings: bar, beach, dance club, casino, restaurant, and more!

New challenges - including obstacles, multiple bonuses, special bricks, pad-size options, secret weapons, and ball speed variation - make this great classic even better. The game has fifty levels spread across 5 locations, with 11 brick types, 14 power-ups and five bosses to battle along the way.

Most exciting for iPod gamers is the exclusive level editor, allowing you to create your own levels, and share them with others via iTunes.

This isn’t Gameloft’s first iPod game, as you may recall, they have also created the LOST and Brain Challenge game.
